The Manager Security-Crisis Management is responsible for the oversight and implementation of best practices within Security and Crisis Management. This position will collaborate with senior management as necessary to proactively manage risk, protect employees and meet regulatory responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manages and direct team to assess, develop and implement security, health and crisis policies and standards including training requirements.
  • Leads or participates in the investigative review of incidents to determine root causes; and recommends and implements/manages necessary preventative or corrective measures.
  • Plans, coordinates, and leads crisis preparedness programs to ensure ongoing sustainable business and employee safety in times of crisis.
  • Provides leadership in emergency response efforts, emergency response training drills, and the development of emergency response plans.
  • Identifies company-wide vulnerabilities and coordinates activities across all functional lines to ensure that plans are put in place to address them.
  • Ensures Wells is in compliance with federal, state and local laws dealing with security, occupational health, and systems integrity issues.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of security and crisis team members, documentation and policies across multiple locations.
  • Provides budget recommendations for department and tracks project completions. Monitors variance against budget on an ongoing basis.
  • Responsible for contacts with outside law enforcement, crisis management and emergency departments.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Emergency Management. Master's Degree a plus.
  • 8-10 years of Security management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable state and federal laws as it applies to security and medical field. Must be knowledgeable of the latest trends and benchmarking data in their career field.
  • Problem solving skills used to get to effective solutions, process and people management. Continuous improvement, budgeting.
  • Must have excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of leadership and motivating
    others to accomplishment of tactical plans.
  • Ability to build successful teams able to quickly identify and resolve problems, able to meet and exceed expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to build a strategic plan and operational goals. Is able to lead a vision for a workforce.
