Job Description


Carat is searching for a Manager, Paid Search to support one of its largest clients, one the largest automotive manufacturers. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Paid Search, you will lead paid search team members in daily account management and implementing strategy, tracking performance against goals, and adherence to deadlines, among other topics.

You Will:

  • Develop strategy in partnership with client services team and Paid Search Director.
  • Be as comfortable delegating tasks as you are with getting in the weeds and executing on your own.
  • Be the daily point of contact for the client, responsible for leading meetings and calls, as well as Search Engine and third-party reps.
  • Lead two direct reports, managing their professional growth.
  • Ensure best practice and adoption of new features or processes
  • Partner with other channel teams to ensure consistency across channels
  • Participate in QBR and other client updates.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex paid search campaigns
  • Well versed in success measurements, specifically in Branding/Awareness and Direct Response
  • In-depth understanding of Paid Search campaign management and optimization practices, and search retargeting
  • Experience with Paid Search Platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Search Ads 360
  • GDN and YouTube experience a plus
  • Google Certification (Fundamentals), Analytics and AdWords Certification
  • Understanding of Display Media, SEO, Affiliates, Feeds, Mobile, Social and Attribution and influence on Paid Search Activities
  • Desire to see things through to completion and deliver results
  • Experience mentoring and fostering the development of new talent
  • Bachelor’s degree

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000 - $80,000 annually. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
