Job Description
The Managers duties are diversified as they will be responsible for the review and payment of various claims per customer’s terms and conditions. Validates and completes weekly review of expired returns cycle. Provide accrual calculations to Revenue and provide any necessary support. Interacts with internal and external customers. The Manager works under minimal supervision, in accordance with established procedures and directly reports to the Director, Returns Processing and Rebate Support.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the review and payment of claims to Failure to Supply (FTS), Stocking Allowances, Promotions, Price Increases and Post Audit
- Review and approve fees for recalled products. Ensure payments are in accordance with Teva’s and/or customers policies.
- Validate and complete weekly expired returns cycles
- Partner with IT to update and maintain tables within the Automated Returns System (ARS) as needed
- Responsible for working with Accounts Receivable (AR) team to resolve customer deductions and variances between customer claims and Teva’s calculations. Provide support to AR to dispute deductions. Participate in reoccurring deduction meetings to review and resolve outstanding debits.
- Maintain and validate calculations of accruals. Review accrual listings created by the team and ensure information is complete and correctly calculated. Submit accruals to the Revenue team monthly and provide support for month end and quarter end requests.
- Provides support and documentation to internal and external auditors
- Complies with all SOX requirements
- Demonstrates professional standards with business contacts in order to maintain Teva’s reputation within the pharmaceutical community
- Follows Teva Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures
- Other projects/duties as required/assigned
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred
- 4+ years progressive related experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
- Prior experience with returns, recalls and rebates
- Leadership experience
- Detailed oriented, organized and deadline sensitive
- Microsoft Office skills, advanced Excel skills preferred
- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP and BI
