Overview:
LMI is seeking a Sr Consultant to develop processes and solutions in support of LMI’s federal government clients. The consultant will facilitate the evaluation, planning, and implementation of improvements to business processes and practices related to business operations and performance management. They will analyze and design enterprise-wide workflow processes across a diverse set of organizations. The candidate should be familiar with business process and performance management best practices and how they can be tailored and applied to Federal Government organizations.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and advise the Government on all published process-related Guidance, Policy, Regulation, Statute or Instruction
  • Conduct and provide analysis on recommended business process improvement best practices, including latest concepts, methodologies, tools, and technology currently used by industry and other Government agencies
  • Lead, instruct, and facilitate BPI efforts chartered to improve processes and develop more effective, efficient “to-be” processes
  • Prepare briefs, presentations, and diagrams suitable for presentation at the Flag and SES level
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise lesson learned file regarding performance management, including creation of performance metrics and management of performance metrics processes
  • Prepare executive reports and presentations, including all documentation requirements. Track and review documents and guidance for improvement
  • Building client relationships
Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree in a related discipline with 10+ years of work experience OR a Master’s degree in a related discipline with 5+ years of work experience
  • Interest in both strategy and execution
  • Ability to work, at times, with multiple ambiguous projects
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations
  • Significant understanding of project management fundamentals and ability to work within project constraints
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, e.g., VISIO, MS Word, PPT, Excel and Outlook and ability to build polished client deliverables
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate well with senior leadership, peers, and staff at all levels to facilitate excellent teamwork
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and administrative details in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • This position requires an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US citizen.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
  • Masters Degree
  • Lean Six Sigma Certified
  • Management consulting experience
