The right person for the job will be self-motivated with an eagerness and willingness to learn and grow into a leadership role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance tasks
• Mechanical Maintenance
• Electrical Maintenance
• Troubleshoot and perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs on processing equipment.
• Set up and operate various power tools and equipment.
• Read and understand meters and gauges.
• Maintain and service specific equipment such as HVAC, compressors, facilities equipment, powered industrial equipment.
• Solid knowledge of industrial mechanics principles including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical motors, controls, and wiring.
• Overseeing the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment
• Cleaning work area, tools, and equipment.
• Ensuring a timely and courteous response at all times.
• Reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the facility grounds.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be a team player with a great attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related experience preferred.
• On-the-job training offered.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time.
• Work in an environment that does not exceed 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30am with OT as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
