The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking to fill a part-time position to assist with the weekly maintenance and repair of 11 tennis courts, 12 pickleball courts, 33 beach volleyball courts and 5 softball infields. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning, maintaining, repairing, weeding, removing and installing courts, removing and installing nets, posting signs and other assigned duties. Qualified applicants shall demonstrate excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, exercise good judgment and have the ability to work independently. Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of experience and be willing to learn new skills. Must possess a valid CA driver’s license and liability insurance. This position is scheduled a maximum of 20 hours per week, and limited to 950 hours per fiscal year.
Working hours are flexible.
