We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for our David City, NE Manufacturing Facility. We’re looking for an experienced candidate that has a proven background in focusing on Production Equipment Maintenance. This person must have experience implementing maintenance software and systems, and experience with Preventative Maintenance. This person will provide leadership and direction to the general maintenance personnel. Coordinates the work to repair/rebuild production equipment and material handling equipment are in safe working condition.

Main Job Responsibilities

• Prepare work schedules, assigns work, oversees the work quality that is performed by each individual of the maintenance team to ensure company goals and objectives are achieved.
• Responsible for maintenance inventory and parts ordering using proper judgement on price, quality, and timely production.
• Manage employees machine inspections are current, lockout procedures are followed, and maintenance training is up to date.
• Develops maintenance procedures and equipment schedules.
• Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of Maintenance experience
• 3-5 years management experience is required.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel, etc.
• Must have an understanding of the entire production cycle.
• Must be able to read blueprints and machine schematics.
• Must have an understanding of production procedures and capabilities.
