Position Description

The Maintenance Line Supervisor oversees the A&P mechanics of the Part 145 Maintenance Repair Station. The Maintenance Line Supervisor will direct, provide leadership and coaching, and coordinate maintenance related activities for general aviation support services. The Line Supervisor will promote a positive team environment to provide “The Ultimate Client Experience” and report to the Maintenance Manager.

Duties Include:

· Manage and Supervise the Aircraft maintenance personnel

· Oversee Quality of work performed

· Manage workflow

· Conduct inspections, maintenance and modifications of aircraft

· Has knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, Acceptable methods, Techniques, and Practices for Aircraft Inspection and Repair

· Work with the Part 135 sister company personnel to support charter aircraft

· Assists in estimating and preparing quotes with the maintenance manager.

· Ensure projects are completed on time and acts as an advisor to aircraft maintenance team

· Provides one-to-one coaching and training

· Develops Processes to improve efficiency

· Assists with Acceptance and Delivery of aircraft to and from maintenance

· Establish a culture that promotes safety through daily observations, shift briefings, routine audits, maintenance of equipment, training and documented safety procedures.

· Establish a culture that promotes customer loyalty by creating an environment of increased employee engagement

· Promotes the company core values

· Perform leadership functions such as conducting annual reviews, assist in making hiring decisions, and managing performance of direct reports which includes mentoring and skill development.

· Ensure training and development of employees to improve work performance and maximize employee potential.

· Other duties as requested or assigned

Position Requirements

· Ten (10) years of management experience or combination of A&P experience/management

· Must have A&P License and IA

· Strong Communication Skills

· Ability to Demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people and build a strong team

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and web based applications.

· Must possess a valid drivers license.

· Ability to handle, prioritize and multi task in a time sensitive environment

· Previous aviation experience is preferred.

· Must have authorization to work in the U.S.

· Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
