Machining Set-Up
Job Description:
CNC Machining Setup Responsibilities:
- Set up equipment and train operators on the correct set up and operation.
- Must be able to comprehend schedule and required outputs for day production activities, including working with key members of other functional areas.
- Must possess and represent the organization with strong leadership, communication and teambuilding skills.
- Must be capable of understanding and practicing the safety requirements of equipment and assuming the safety of self and others around the equipment
- Will be responsible for troubleshooting minor problems associated with all machines.
- Must be capable of walking/standing/sitting for entire shift.
- Repeatedly handles castings weighing up to 30-35 lbs. (for castings weighing in excess of this amount hoists are used).
- Ability to bend, twist, turn side to side.
- Repeatedly positions parts weighing up to 90 lbs.
- 5's
CNC Machining Setup must have:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience.
