About the role:

The machine operator is responsible for operating industrial CNC equipment to fabricate aluminum components for windows and doors through following established procedures and instructions while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts for aluminum windows and doors.

· Follow established procedures and work instructions to ensure that parts conform to specifications and blueprints.

· Monitor the machine's performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.

· Perform routine maintenance on the equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor.

· Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

· Adhere to safety regulations and procedures in the fabrication area.

· Collaborate with the team and supervisor to identify ways to improve the fabrication process and increase efficiency.

· Keep the work area clean and organized.

Candidate requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent, trade school or vocational school certificate in machining is a plus.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential problems.

· Good math skills and ability to use measuring tools.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to follow safety regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

· Flexibility to work in different shifts, overtime and weekend if required.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
