Our hospital is a Level IV ER trauma center, an award-winning Level 1 Birth Center, and operates several outpatient clinics, including: surgery, orthopedic, occupational health, pain management, wound care, four primary care clinics, and three physical therapy/sports rehabilitation clinics in Arcata, McKinleyville, and Willow Creek. Mad River Home Health Care provides a wide range of services throughout the community and county. We are proud to boast a 2-acre on-site farm that provides our cafeteria with produce for serving patients and staff.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct patient care and/or functions as team leader for an assigned group of patients. Collects data which contributes to the assessment and reassessment of the patient. Assists with the implementation of the patient’s plan of care and assists with the provision of patient/family education. Provides supervision to non-licensed staff. Entry level position, night shift.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

1. Possesses a current LVN license in the State of California.

2. Possesses current BLS certificate

3. Previous acute care experience preferred

4. IV certified or willing to obtain within 90 days
