Job Duties

Supervises the activities of inmates in the preparation and serving of meals for the population and staff. Trains inmates in all kitchen policies and procedures. Maintains a high standard of food safety, sanitation and quality in a cost efficient manner.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a food service environment. Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend policies and procedures. Demonstrated ability to monitor and supervise the work of others.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, cost controls and operating and repairing food service equipment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office to include outlook.
