The Uftring Auto Group consists of eleven automotive franchises at six car dealerships in Peoria, East Peoria, Washington and North Pekin, Illinois. Responsibilities
-
Perform multi-point safety inspections
-
Communicate with service advisors and customers
-
Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly
- Note any additional work needed and provide cost estimate
-
Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
-
Attend training and shop meetings
-
Assist porter and advisors on drive as needed
Qualifications
-
Basic mechanical and automotive repair knowledge
-
Previous experience or schooling is preferred
-
Must be organized and able to work unsupervised
-
High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Provide own tools
- Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Hours
Monday through Friday- 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Saturday- in rotation: 7:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
