LTE Cook - 40 hours/week Job at Agrace
Agrace is looking for a temporary full-time Cook now through May 1st! Start working 40 hrs/wk shortly after your interview. Work 5 days/wk from 10a-6p.
Agace's Cooks work in a professional kitchen providing quality food made from local ingredients for patients, families, and staff in our beautiful facility. This is a great opportunity for a new cook to gain experience or a seasoned cook looking for something new.
We provide all the necessary training to anyone interested in helping serve their community through Agrace's mission and values. Just bring yourself and we take care of the rest! Our cooks have the chance to join a kitchen that encourages creativity and rotating menu items created by staff. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Tasks include meal preparation, distribution of a la minute patient breakfasts, and cleaning.
- Meal preparation and distribution for patients
- Set up and tear down of meal cart
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, and staff
- Responsible for kitchen/grocery inventory
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Ability to operate all equipment in a safe manner
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
