In-Depth Engineering seeks multiple Local Area Network Engineers (LAN) to join our team in San Diego, CA. Individuals will support our Aegis Ship Integration and Test (SI&T) program, ensuring equipment is operable, available for testing, and sea trials. All experience levels are welcome to apply.
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 25% TDY travel.
Duties
System integration, test, and troubleshooting- Preventative and corrective maintenance for Aegis System Computing Infrastructure (ACI)
- Responsible for equipment suites, setup configurations, equipment interfaces, and data extraction
- Activation and operation of tactical computing environment
- Perform test procedures and documentation (discrepancies, revisions)
- Serve as the System Administrator for the Aegis Weapon System (AWS)
- Fiber optic testing and troubleshooting
- Assist with computer program/equipment changes as necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 8 years of related experience desired- Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
- Operational/Configuration knowledge of Cisco network hardware/software
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be US Citizen and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
