Required Qualifications:

  • Background in hospitality or fine-dining environment
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience serving in banquets and events
  • Availability to work weekends and/or holidays
  • Bilingual/multilingual

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and breakdown of all banquet and catering events
  • Greet guests with a warm smile
  • Take orders and communicate with customers and kitchen staff about any special requests/allergies
  • Share any information about the menu and any questions the guests may have about the menu
  • Bring out food in a timely manner
  • Check up on guests
  • Communicate and work as a team player with other staff members
  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing away appropriate dishes from guests tables
  • Follow safety and sanitation standards
  • Provide ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Maintain table cleanliness by removing courses as completed, replenish utensils, and refill glasses
  • Identify appropriate beverage pairings and answer food preparation questions

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • All employees are to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance (specifics will be provided)
