The Caviar Co. is currently seeking a highly motivated Line Cook to join our team! We are looking for an individual who is passionate about caviar and is committed to delivering an exceptional culinary experience to our guests.

Responsibilities Overview:

  • Assist with setting up the kitchen, putting away orders, proper FIFO.
  • Preparing mise-en-place, following recipes and instructions from Chef.
  • Regularly check the quality of prep and storage areas to ensure proper compliance with food safety and health regulations.
  • Ensure that kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
  • Wash dishes and glassware throughout service and put away at the end of the shift.
  • Effectively communicate with FOH to ensure orders are completed according to request and on time.
  • Work with a sense of urgency and discipline.
  • Make family meal for all staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of cooking experience in a professional setting. We are willing to train if other qualifications are met.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. No egos, please! Must have a collaborative and humble mindset.
  • Have a sense of urgency and be able to manage your own time.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling practices
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must have Servsafe/Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work standing on your feet for at least 8 hours per day
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 30 pounds
