LINE COOKS & PREP COOKS NEEDED

Chihuahua Brewing Company was formed in 2017 to brew quality beer in a fun, inviting and relaxed atmosphere. With over 20 years’ experience in the brewing industry, we are focused on brewing great beers, that are inspired from Mexican Style Lagers and the lifestyle that surrounds them. We are developing a team of inspirational, self-starting individuals who have a desire to be part of something special. The Line Cook is responsible for assisting the Kitchen Manager with food preparation, assembly, plating, and other duties as needed. The Prep Cook is responsible for food preparation, sanitation and upholding Health standards within the kitchen.
Must be available to start by 2/24.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and portion food products prior to and after cooking
- Assist in final assembly and plating of food
- Assist with cleaning of dishes and equipment as needed
- Assist with restocking or organizing as needed
- Assist Chef with food handling as directed
- Assuring that all components of food dishes are made according to guest and health standards
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience working as a line cook (One or more 1+ years)
- Experience working in a fast-casual restaurant environment with assembly/cooking/preparation of Mexican cuisine
- Excellent communication skills and team oriented personality
- Knowledge of weights, measurements, volume, and cooking procedures
- Able to stand for extended periods of time, lift up-to 50 lbs., and work in a confined area with elevated temperatures.
Shifts Available:
Part time shifts available based on candidate availability and shift availability.
Hours of operation: Mon-Sun 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM
