CriSyS, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Mobile Crisis Clinician to join our frontline crisis intervention team in Charlotte, North Carolina in the Town of Davidson. As a Mobile Crisis Clinician, you will perform assessments and crisis intervention, including de-escalation, crisis planning, implementation, and treatment plans with consumers in the community.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform on-scene danger, crisis, and environmental assessments upon entry to the community.
• Monitor computer aided dispatch and radio for calls for service requests for crisis services.
• Design appropriate referral recommendations using community resources.
• Determine the need for emergency petition and/or alternative psychiatric evaluation.
• Experience working with a wide variety of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly populations.
• Partner with local police, families, and other involved parties to de-escalate, create a crisis plan, and determine treatment plan.
• Assist with SWAT negotiations and other critical incidents.
• Educate individuals about mental health, substance abuse, available community resources, and the agency’s services.
• Complete documentation in an accurate and thorough manner.
• Abide by all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to confidentiality and protected health information.

What We Require:

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field of study and at least one (1) to two (2) years of community based crisis experience.
• Current licensure in the State of North Carolina: LCSW or LCMHC.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed.
