Position Summary:

Milan Laser is rapidly growing (just like unwanted hair), and we are excited to hire a full-time, Metro Traveler. This person will venture to Milan’s various locations within a 60-mile radius of the assigned metro area to fill in for our current Providers while they are out of the office (vacation, FMLA, leave, etc.). Not only will you continue to help our clients achieve the smooth results they've always wanted, but you'll also help our Providers achieve work life balance! This teamwork and collaboration is essential as Milan Laser continues to grow. This new Metro Traveler position is a great opportunity for personal and professional career progression!

Pay: Salary Position (Equivalent to an additional $2.00/hr or $4,160/year than hourly Provider pay)

Status: Full-time, Exempt

Based out of: Iowa City, IA; Candidates must live within close proximity to a Milan Laser clinic.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within a 60-mile radius of the assigned metro area
  • Flexibility to travel weekends
  • Flexibility for business needs which may require same day assignments

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all laser hair removal treatments within Milan Laser’s established treatment protocols and procedures
  • Educate patients on laser hair removal process and pre/post treatment care recommendations
  • Work autonomously with clients to achieve their medical or aesthetic hair-free goals
  • Collaborate with the clinic team to achieve company goals
  • Provide a friendly and comfortable environment by delivering world class patient care
  • Record clear and accurate medical documentation in patients EMR on a tablet device
  • Ensure a professional clean work environment; to include prepping the treatment room in between patients
  • Clean and perform minor maintenance on the laser to ensure proper functionality
  • Collaborate with Regional Clinical Specialist/Practitioner, Medical Management, and the Scheduling Team as needed

Requirements:

  • A reliable form of transportation for local travel between clinics
  • Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license
  • Will work with Milan's Licensing Team to obtain licenses in multiple states, if necessary.
  • Ability to fulfill and travel within a 60-mile radius of the assigned metro area
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Reside in close proximity to a Milan Laser clinic
  • Flexibility for weekend coverage and travel
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Passionate about providing excellent patient care
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
  • Be able to stand for up to 9 hours a day
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Be able to visually assess the client’s skin and use visual abilities while operating the laser
  • Be able to operate a laser and computer/office machinery (required use of hands, fingers, arms)
