Job Description:
GLC On-The Go is seeking a LPN to work a contract at a Long Term Care Facility in (New Ulm, MN).
Schedule: 40HRS Nights
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Pay Package: $25 hr, $55 OT + $1050 Stipend=$2050 weekly
Requirements:
· Must have a valid and current Licensein the state you are applying for
· Must have 1 year experience in the setting applying for
· Active BLS/CPR Certification (in person for some facilities)
· Must have Covid Vaccination or exemptionwhere applicable
Job Duties:
· Recording the patient’s history
· Giving medication as prescribed by the physician
· Taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight
· Basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas
· Giving injections of medications
· Entering proper documentation into facility specific EMR computer systems
· Providing oversight to Nursing assistant personnel
· Monitoring fluid/food intake and output
· Observing patient’s reactions to medications
· Assisting with ADL’s
· Observing of patients for skin breakdown
· Maintains work operations by following facility policies and procedures
· Follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
· Maintain strict resident and employee confidentiality in compliance with HIPPAA guidelines
· Represent GLC’s Core Values and Mission with complete regard for the dignity of each person
