Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant Job at Empire Workforce Solutions
This is a great Legal opportunity for a Legal Secretary with some Legal Assistant experience to work for a Partner Level trial lawyer in a great firm. Our client is full service law firm located in the Business District in Los Angeles. This is a temporary position for approximately 4 months. Although not a given, if candidate proves to be a good fit for the firm, could be a good possibility for permanent.
This is the opportunity to work for a partner level attorney and to learn and grow in the Legal Industry.
· Candidate will be assisting with all Litigation cases, some inhouse filing. Candidate will be handling a large volume of Federal and State court filings.
· Candidate should be experienced with subpoenas, deposition and appearance scheduling.
· Legal Word Processing is light but should be familiar with it, TOCs and TOAs are created with a template and candidate can be easily trained on it.
· Experienced in document management system. Worldox is used at this firm but can easily be trained on it.
· Candidate should be comfortable with Word, Excel (basic) and Outlook.
Schedule is 9am-5pm and Attorney prefers onsite.
