As a Lead Shipping Clerk, you’ll become a part of this mission by helping to keep records of outbound shipments, maintaining information logs, and working with our Human Resources department. You’ll make a difference by utilizing your strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills to get the job done.

Job Description

Pay will depend on experience

Fulltime, 1st Shift, Monday – Friday 4am to 12:30pm (with occasional overtime)

600 Arsenal Road, York PA, 17404

You will contribute by:
Verifying and keeping records of outbound shipments

Preparing documents such as work orders, bills of lading, shipping orders & route shuttles

Recording shipment data, outbound trailer load diagrams, route logs, and shuttle logs

Maintaining attendance log for hourly employees

Maintaining the sanitation log

Maintaining the warehouse selector error log

Reviewing files & records to obtain information for required requests

Working closely with the Human Resources department and maintaining all necessary documents for review

Completing other duties as assigned

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

Continual standing, sitting, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.

Occasionally lifting of product weighing between 1 - 40 lbs. or more

Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead

Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools

Your work environment may include:
Grocery (office) – about 50°- 80°

We’re searching for candidates with:
Microsoft Office experience – Must be proficient

Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred

Strong planning and execution skills

Ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results

Strong team orientation and collaboration to work effectively in a team environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with people at all levels in the organization

Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
