Lead Server/Supervisor Job at Evergreen Retirement Community
Evergreen is looking for a Lead Server to join our amazing Culinary Services team!
Evergreen is a non-profit senior living organization serving older adults ages 55 and better. Located in a pleasant residential neighborhood in Oshkosh, Evergreen offers many options to meet our residents unique needs including our unique dining venues; Creekview Cafe, GardenSide Restaurant and Pub 67 - a full service bar!
Working hours are 11:00am - 7:30pm for a total of 40 hours per week. Work on every other weekend and holiday is required.
Competitive wages (based on experience) starting at $15-20/hr. with regular wage increase opportunities. As the Lead Server you will:
- Supervise front-of-house operations (restaurant, bar, catering) maintaining a high level of service
- Train front-of-house staff (Servers & Bartenders)
- Work as a Server/Bartender
- Respond to resident and customer feedback
- Work closely with back-of-house staff on quality and presentation of food
- Participate in weekly department leadership meetings
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work effectively to lead a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Pervious serving/restaurant/bartending experience preferred
- Proof of COVID Vaccine or approved exemption
- Flu shot also required
