Responsibilities

• Proficient with installing full frame wood and insert vinyl windows, entry doors, and storm doors.
• Proficient with exterior and interior trim and caulking windows and doors
• Communication written and verbal
• Build bay/bow windows

Minimum Requirements:

• Lead and motivate install crew for the day’s job
• Ability to delegate duties on job
• Follow Adkins & Son's processes
• Demolition, construction, and other miscellaneous tasks
• Remove existing windows/doors, prepare the openings, put new products in, caulking, etc.
• Be the face of Adkins & Sons
• Conduct a general review with the Homeowner/client (demonstrating how the windows work, open/lock, adjust blinds, etc.)
• Ensure there are no issues and provide unparalleled customer service
• Complete any necessary paperwork
• Load truck for next day's work
• Read contracts, material lists, and other instructions

What Will Make You Special:

• Ability to lead and guide new installers
• Willingness to learn, grow, and develop
• Chauffeurs license
• Pella window installation experience
• ProVia window and door installation experience
• General construction knowledge (Kitchens Bathrooms, Framing)

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of professional experience installing windows and doors
• 2+ years of professional experience leading teams
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required (for insurance purposes)
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs (windows, doors, etc) required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work alone or in a team environment (crews can be 1-6 people per job)
• Attention to detail, dependability, self-control, cooperation, and stress tolerance
• Ability to work 8-10 hour days with a 6:45 AM start time

Use Proper Tools Including:

• Nail gun, Framer, Finish, Screw gun, Table saw, Skill saw, Chop box, Speed square, Torpedo etc.
• Most tools will be provided if needed aside from hand tools (Hammer, drill, pry bar etc.)

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
