Infant, Toddler, Preschool, School-Age Teachers
Children's Lighthouse Learning Center Clay Road seeks EXPERIENCED (but not necessary) and energetic early childhood teachers who love what they do! Our mission is to provide safe, quality, loving care and education to children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We aspire to promote the positive development of young children in all areas of growth.
Hours available: Opener, Closer, or Floater
The position is open to full or part time candidates with prior childcare experience who have a sincere passion for children and their early childhood education. Compensation will be based on hourly wages with paid holidays and vacation time available. Bus driver experience a plus!
Experience/Education:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED, preferably higher education with degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or related field
- 1-2 years' childcare experience in a licensed childcare center preferred
- Clear criminal background
- Impeccable references

- Follows and coordinates daily classroom schedules for curriculum teaching, activities, meals, and naps
- Maintains current, creative, and attractive bulletin boards
- Disciplines with clear and consistent expectations for children's behavior
- Accepts responsibility for maintenance and cleanliness of classroom and center
- Observes all rule and regulations set by home organization, local, state, or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health and safety of children
- Assists in other capacities as needed by Center Director
- Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions as determined by management

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
