Balian Springs is a new Wellness Club located just 15 minutes from DC in Alexandria! This Social Club focuses on promoting complete self care to satisfy mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. We are passionate about the greater human connection and strive to build on the supportive community found at Balian Springs.

Balian Springs Social Wellness Club is seeking a professional, personable, enthusiastic and pro-active individual looking to grow with our new business and provide wellness, hospitality, and positivity to our guests! The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality while also being very detailed oriented, reliable, and perceptive.

The Club consists of 10 therapeutical spa pools, 8 themed sauna rooms, 5 lounge rooms, workspace, fitness center, day spa, Water Lounge, 3 eateries, Aqua Bar, and year round roof top Infinity pool.

We are looking for a laundry attendant to take care of running the laundry and dryer, fold linens and towels, pick and drop off to different areas of our facility.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Ability to problem solve while maintaining a positive attitude
• Interact with all guests, showing genuine appreciation
• Having knowledge about all amenities offered at our Club
• Answering any questions clients may have about our Club
• Ensuring area is clean and tidy
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
• Folding laundry (towels, robes, ect)
• Keep an updated inventory of laundry detergents
• Track maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment

Requirements and skills

• Takes pride and ownership in the position and property

• Strong communication and people skills Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Proven work experience as a Laundry Attendant or similar role
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary: $15.00 per hour
