Programs, sets-up and operates of laser marking department. Laser marks all metals including stainless steel articles such as handles, rods medical equipment.

· Follow instructions on router and review print for instructions; laser mark per print.

· Familiar with product lines and can question instructions for clarification.

· Provide management with updates on performance and training.

· Able to activate laser from computer boot up stage through machine calibration.

· Bring laser back down to shut off or safe mode.

· Computer knowledge. Part programming skills. Programming of multi axis motion system.

· Creation of new program and/or recalling programs for required part.

· Understanding of the process print for specific job.

· Set up skills for proper placement of fixtures or creating new fixture for holding part.

· Knowledge of all pertinent laser parameters for proper marking of parts.

· Visual along with comparator or other measuring device competencies.

· Ability to take and record measurements for 1starticle requirements.

· Prepare Certificates of Compliance following process print guidelines.

· Record all work tasks using move tickets and labor card entries.

· Demonstrate and follow all safe practices while running laser.

· Enter data as required into EPICOR.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
