Commercial Landscape Company seeks a full time Estimator. A minimum of 10 years experience is required in landscape & irrigation estimating of public works and private construction projects both as a Prime Contractor and Sub-Contractor. The ideal candidate will have strong landscape and irrigation estimating experience, strong computer and organizational skills & works well under pressure and can meet deadlines.

Buckley Nursery Company specializes in the installation of commercial landscape & irrigation systems, pavers, drainage systems, wetland mitigation, greenroofs & hydroseeding for cities, state, government agencies & private developers.

Candidate will have 10+ years experience & a proven record of accomplished projects in all phases of landscape construction. Primary responsibility is to estimate new projects.

• Detailed plan and specification reading
• Accurately perform material take-offs
• Adhere to Company & Client policies and procedures
• Ability to interpret landscape & irrigation plans & specifications
• Communicate excellent written and verbal skills
• General Schedule of Values
• A thorough understanding of company and industry practices & standards
• Solicit supplier & subcontractor quotes
• Deliver each bid with the highest level of quality
• Utilize Builders Exchange
• Produce project schedules
• Onsite visits with clients
• Ability to work with existing staff to deliver successful projects
• Works well under pressure
• Self Starter
• Motivated

Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project as well as some type of estimating software system. WinEstimator is a plus. Excellent and accurate math skills.

Wages will be determined based on experience & qualifications
