Laborer / Pond Maintenance / Construction Job at Coal City Contracting
Job Overview:
Coal City Contracting is looking to hire an experienced Laborer / Operator to assist with pond maintenance, light landscaping, construction of ponds and waterfalls.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performs various physical duties as assigned
- Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads or unloads materials; moves tools, equipment or other materials as directed
- Capable of using heavy or light equipment at the discretion of the supervisor, dependent upon job assignment
- Assist with setup and cleanup of job site
- Arrive to designated job site on time
Qualifications:
- PA state driver’s license required; CDL license is a bonus
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to follow and receive directions, provides attention to detail, self-sufficient and organized
- Professional appearance
- Personable
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds with an ability to perform repetitive movements (i.e. bending, lifting and twisting)
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule throughout the week
- Able to work in all types of weather including extreme conditions when applicable
- Knowledge and ability to use basic hand and power tools is preferred. Some onsite training may be necessary.
- Previous landscaping experience is a bonus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Landscape Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
