Robins & Morton is looking for a Laborer to contribute to the physical building of our exciting construction projects.

We are looking for a candidate who will consistently show integrity and collaborate with the team to provide physical labor, operate hand and power tools and a variety of other equipment. He/she will help maintain clean and prepared sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and remove up rubble and debris. The candidate will be readily willing to help other craft teammates, and successfully perform the duties as lead by the Labor Foreman or R&M Manager.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)

  • Run and maintain various construction equipment, including but not limited to: pumps, compressors, generators, and various other construction equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks. Deliver materials to site storage area or other designated area.
  • Keep building and/or assigned areas clean and organized to maintain safe and productive work.
  • Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary structures.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Preferred
  • 1 Year as a Labor/Helper in the carpentry or construction field preferred.
  • Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • General knowledge of construction means, methods, materials and equipment as necessary to assist carpenters, foreman and R&M managers
