For 30 years South Bay Design Center, Inc. has been the premier kitchen and bath remodeling company in the South Bay area, now with our New 10,000 s/f Kitchen & Bath showroom inside of ATRIUM DESIGN CENTER located on one of Southern California’s most highly traveled routes. This one-of-a-kind, ultra-modern building sits directly on Pacific Coast Highway in the heart of the South Bay with neighboring towns such as Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates, Torrance, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach. Our mission is to occupy retail and office spaces for businesses focusing on home remodeling. Our vision is simple; to have all aspects of home remodeling at consumers fingertips all under one roof.

The candidate must have three plus (3+) years’ kitchen and bath cabinetry experience. Applicants must be well-spoken, energetic, and detail driven. Applicant must have the ability to manage high end clientele with patience and professionalism. The role is to support the lead Designer in all aspects of the project from start to finish. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for interior design and remodeling. Opportunity for growth in the company will be available.

• The candidate must be experienced and proficient in 2020, AutoCAD is a plus.
• The Designer will collaborate with customers, assisting them from sale to project completion.
• Applicant must be able to collaborate well with the team and be able to follow instructions.
• Candidate will be responsible for creating floor plans and elevations, preparing presentations for customers, closing contracts, and working with project managers.
• The candidate must be able to order cabinetry through vendors’ order-entry portals.
• Microsoft Office proficiency is necessary.
• Well organized, responsible, efficient, and being meticulous is crucial.

Base salary plus Commission / Top pay based on experience and qualifications.

Salary: From $100,000.00 per year estimated combined pay based on performance

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• 5 days per week, must include Saturday or Sunday weekly

• High School or equivalent (Preferred)
• Design Certificate or Degree is a plus
