If you love and care for animals and want them to be safe and happy, this is the job for you! This is a perfect entry-level opportunity for someone interested or currently in school for the veterinary field.

We are hiring for our Kennel Assistant Position. All training will be provided! Previous experience preferred but not required.

All applicants must be 18 years old, responsible, reliable, healthy, be able to take direction and work independently, have reliable transportation, no allergies to dogs, lift 40 pounds, able to stand/walk for approximately 6 hours and able to work Saturday OR Sunday and holidays. (Weekend and Holiday time off is available upon request)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining cleanliness of facility
• Overseeing 15-25 dogs in an indoor/outdoor setting
• Basic grooming needs of dogs
• Group enrichment activities for dogs in our care
• One on one enrichment for dogs
• Maintaining cleanliness of play yard

Full-time/part-time positions and paid internships available. 6 hour, 8 hour and 12 hour shifts considered. Minimum of 6 hours required for a shift (6:45am-1pm or 12:45-7pm). We are currently hiring for our seasonal positions. These positions are limited (2-3 people depending on availability).

All employees must be able to pass a certified Pet First Aid and CPR course by 6 months of employment, which we will pay for!
