Job Summary
B&A is looking for a Junior Application Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications for our company, under the supervision of senior developers. The Junior Application Developer will be involved in all aspects of the development process, from design to deployment, and will work with a variety of programming languages and technologies.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior developers to create and maintain software applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using a variety of programming languages and frameworks.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of the applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and optimize performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software development.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • At least one year of specialized expertise in a specific area (e.g. Federal Financial Management, Application Systems, or Human Capital)
Required Skills
  • Experience with Angular JS and Java.
  • Strong understanding of programming concepts and principles.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C++, Python, etc.) and the ability to learn new languages quickly.
  • Experience with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and under supervision.

Security Clearance
