Journeyman Electrician
Centerline Communications LLC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician. The Journeyman Electrician's task is to facilitate the installation, repair and maintenance of wireless and wireline telecommunications equipment, and will performs many different tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • EL-01 Electrical License is required
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Background in electrical construction, industrial maintenance, electronics, or related military experience
  • Diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Occasional to moderate travel involved
  • Must be able to lift 100 lb. and able to work at heights up to 10 feet
  • Must have ability to perceive differences in wire and cable color
  • Must possess valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
  • Basic mechanical abilities with hand tools and simple power tools.
  • Ability to work independently from the electrician on tasks that require less skills or experience
  • Ability to read, comprehend and carry out written and verbal instructions.
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear. Occasionally the work requires the employee to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee needs to have good vision for close work, distance, color discrimination, peripheral, and depth perception.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years experience working as an Electrician in either residential or commercial jobs
  • Telecommunications or Commercial electrical experience is a plus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position.

Travel
  • Home every night
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.

The pay range for this position in Washington is $50-$60/hr. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience (in addition to medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered). This information is provided per the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities Act . Base pay information is based on the market location.
