JOB COACH for Learning & Cognitively Disabled Adults!!!

Starting at $16.00 per hour with $1000 Sign-On Bonuses ($500 at 3 months and $500 at 6 Months--must maintain trainings & average 20 hours weekly) & Quarterly Bonuses. It is a GREAT time to join LIFE.

LIFE on Cape Cod is seeking 2* Full Time or Part-time JOB COACHES* to provide counseling, training, and individual instruction to the wonderful LIFE individuals we support to help them reach their full potential through workplace training onsite that are located throughout the Mid-Upper Cape Cod area.

• Must live in or around the Cape Cod, MA area.
• The full-time position is primarily Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM; with occasional Saturday or evening availability. This full-time position (35-40 hours) offers an exceptional benefits package including BCBS Medical and Dental Insurance!
• The Part-time position is shorter day shifts--Saturday may be needed (occasionally) for this position.
• The job coach will be working with different individuals at different work locations to help them be their best!
• Note: If you are the right person for one of these openings, we will do our best to make your schedule and the individuals we support schedule work!

• Most important applicant characteristics for this position are patience, dependability and kindness!
• Must be outgoing and organized
• Must have excellent verbal and training skills; ability to manager an email account & basic computer skills
• Enjoy collaborating with people of different age groups, cultures, and abilities
• Be able to build confidence and independence in our clients in the workplace
• Provide resident transportation to and from employment sites. Employee will need to use their personal vehicle the majority of the time (employees are reimbursed for mileage)
• Must have the stamina to be present in the varied workplaces with the client to provide proper job coaching support.
• Maintain sanitary conditions of workspaces and vehicles; continually work with clients to encourage their understanding and compliance with up-to-date LIFE guidelines and their workplace guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19

Requirements:

• Dependability, Patience, and Kindness
• Experience in Retail, Restaurant, Hospitality or Training background excellent
• Experience with the population we work with excellent--but we will train the right candidate (Personal experience and Volunteer Work Counts!)
• Must be able to maintain professionalism in all workplaces
• Must be willing to attend training through LIFE for CPR/First Aid
• Per the state of MA DDS, MUST be able to pass CORI, DPPC and Fingerprint check and have an MVR record acceptable to LIFE's Auto Insurance carrier.
