SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

The individual must possess:

• Knowledge & experience in performing a variety of floor care duties. Dust mops, cleans and burnishes floors; strips, refinishes, scrubs and/or recoats floors; machine scrubs floors according to floor maintenance schedules. Operates various types of equipment used for floor care maintenance such as, but not limited to automatic scrubbers, floor machines, wet/dry vacuums, burnisher, vacuums, sweepers, pressure wash equipment and carpet extractors.
• This position requires the appropriate knowledge and use of chemicals, operation of scrubbers, carpet cleaning machines, extractors and vacuums.
• Basic knowledge of proper customer etiquette, correctness, politeness, and respectability.
• Proven experience in cleaning office buildings with at least 1 year office janitorial experience required.
• Ability to pass background check and agree to random drug screening.
• The individual must have reliable transportation,
• Ability to read and speak the English language.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and identify problems.
• Basic knowledge of cleanliness procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule if required.

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Floor maintenance including: rotary scrub & high speed burnish of ESC conductive floor; VCT floor maintenance & vacuum or shampoo of carpet.
• Manage Inventory control and stocking of all supplies and all paper products to dispensers, including toilet tissue, facial tissue, soap and hand towels.
• Maintain all equipment and keep in clean and good working condition.
• Responsible for communicating maintenance concerns to supervisor.
• Dust, vacuum, empty trash and maintain dumpster area.
• Transport trash, boxes and other materials to dumpster for disposal.
• Cleaning and disinfecting restroom toilets, sinks, urinals, counter tops, floors, mirrors and walls.
• Cleaning of interior glass.
• Clean outside seating areas including, tables ,chairs, and trash when applicable.
• And any other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Hours: 5pm – 9pm, M-F

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
