Job Summary: Provide janitorial support to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility.
Essential Functions:
· Operate floor sweeper and scrubber daily
· Remove snow using snowblower or hand shovel. Apply ice melt as needed.
· Clean up and dispose of debris from maintenance jobs
· Assist other departments with major clean-up projects
· Upkeep and cleaning of company vehicles
· Landscaping and trimming of facility grounds.
· Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
· Work at a consistent and steady pace, be prepared to work each day, and report to assigned work area in a punctual manner.
· Regular and predictable attendance
· Work required overtime as needed
Other duties:
· Communicates with supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner
· Support and positively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
· Keep facilities, materials and work area clean and orderly
· Perform all other duties as assigned
Required education and training:
· High school diploma or Equivalent
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to read and follow work instructions
· Ability to understand and follow routine oral and written instructions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
