Supports daily plant operations by ensuring continual cleanliness and housekeeping of the plant facility and grounds throughout the day, while practicing safe work practices and adherence to all management directives, procedures and instructions in all activities.
Must have a valid driver’s license and complete the required Autoquip job testing.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform both routine and new duties and be able to work independently.
• Adhere to all company standards and instructions.
• Be able to evaluate conditions of the plant environment to set or adjust schedules and activities to maintain a safe professional work place.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary plant as per the Janitor weekly schedule.
• Support production in the following areas:
• Production Cylinder & Hose Assembly
• Leg Straightening / Assy. / Pin & Pairing
• Paint shop wash and prep
• Stock room kitting

• Repetitive assembly tasks.
• Facility / property clean up, organization and waste removal.
• Machine cleanup and help maintenance personnel as needed.
• All other duties assigned.

Skills & Abilities

• Demonstrate good work ethics & be self motivated.
• Basic computer skills & business system knowledge.
• Capability to learn new duties, skills, adjust to changes.
• Cooperate and interact with co-workers & customers.
• Safely enter work areas under production to accomplish tasks while minimizing interference to production.
• Be reliable in taking responsibility for work completion with the ability to work with a sense of urgency.

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 50 – 70 lbs, Pushing/ Pulling up to 40 lbs.
• Bending, Stooping, Climbing & Walking 6 – 8 hours per day.
• Ability to work at floor, table, and structural overhead levels.
• Able to drive company vehicle and operate powered lift.
