IT Technician (Level 1)

Position Summary

Our company is looking for a skilled Onsite IT Technician to provide technical assistance to our office staff. The IT Technician will be responsible for setting up and repairing hardware devices, as well as troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and work well under pressure. This is a full-time position and will require the candidate to work onsite.

Full time: 9am-5pm

Responsibilities

· Install and configure hardware devices such as printers, scanners, and computers

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software

· Perform maintenance and upgrades on hardware and software

· Provide technical support to office staff and assist with user account management

· Manage and maintain inventory of IT equipment

· Communicate with third-party vendors for equipment repairs

· Maintain records of all IT support requests and resolutions

· Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures

· Other duties assigned

Requirements

· Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or related field

· A degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred

· 1+ years of experience

· Solid understanding of computer hardware and software systems

· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· A degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred but not required

· Must be able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
