IT Service Coordinator Job at Hermann Forwarding
Hermann Services Inc., headquartered in Monmouth Junction, NJ offers trucking transportation, brokerage, warehouse, and packaging services throughout the United States, specializing in the Northeast and Gulf Coast/Texas Regions. We are seeking an IT Service Coordinator to join our Bordentown, NJ location. Hermann offers a competitive salary, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and 401k matching program.
Pay Range: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
The IT Service Coordinator will be responsible for administering and providing technical support to the company’s business software applications. The IT Service Coordinator will also manage problem escalation with external software vendors and support other areas within the IT Department.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the success of the software business applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Great Plains, TMW, McLeod, Microsoft Exchange, and WMS
- Provide technical support to other team members
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors
- Follow up with internal/external users to ensure issues are resolved
- Remain abreast of current and changing technology and trends
- Ensure IT department procedures and protocols are up to date
- Review and manage access requests
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 3+ years of IT related experience
- Knowledge of servers, PCs, desktop software, operating systems, Networks, and data communications
- Experience working with third party EDI systems and outside software support
- Prior experience in Logistics and warehousing is a plus
