The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, tracking and coordinating the implementation of technology projects for LALA US. This position requires a candidate with experience managing SAP projects as well as being bilingual in English and Spanish. The IT Project Manager will report to the IT US Manager and work closely with stakeholders from LALA US and Grupo Lala (Mexico) to identify project requirements, coordinate resources, and ensure successful project delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Manage projects from inception to completion, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior managers, technical teams, and stakeholders.

• Develop detailed project plans and timelines, including resource allocation and budgeting.

• Conduct business process mapping and analysis to identify process improvements and develop solutions that align with business goals.

• Ensure that projects are completed within budget, on time, and meet quality standards.

• Identify and manage project risks and issues.

• Communicate project status to stakeholders and executive management.

• Coordinate project team activities and manage project resources, including third-party vendors and consultants.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.

• Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors, including negotiations and contract management.

• Lead and facilitate project team meetings and workshops.

• Create and ensure the project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.

• Provide training to end-users on new or updated processes as needed.

• Develop and manage project communication plans, including regular status reports and stakeholder & executive updates.

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project management practices.

WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

Required

• 3+ years of experience as IT project manager, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

• Experience managing SAP projects.

• Experience in managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

• Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources.

Preferred

• Ability to work effectively geographically distributed virtual teams and external vendors.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

• Project management (PMP, CompTIA, PRINCE2) and/or Scrum master certification

• Leadership and communication skills.

FORMAL EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Scrum Master and/or PMP certifications preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, and temperatures.

• Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending on the project or assignment.

• Travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional visits to LALA U.S. plants for specific project implementations
