Position Title: IT Project Lead

Department: Information Technology

Purpose

Manage and participates all aspects of IT department software life cycle, including Requirements gathering, Project Management, Application Development and Support, Business Intelligence, Reports and overall uptime. Maintain current systems and evaluate new systems and solutions to increase company profitability. Function as architect by deciding the best ways to build and put together systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage Software such as Netsuite, Backbone, SFCC, Shopify, Shiphawk, RFSmart and any other current or future applications.
• Train and lead projects with other full stack developers.
• Participate in the day to day development on projects and tasks.
• Help to manage day to day vendor relationships.
• Make recommendations on purchasing decisions for apps and addons.
• Provide backup and on-call support for all core systems, optimizing system up-time
• Help to manage cross departmental priorities
• Develop and maintain company’s Information Security posture and compliance with all applicable standards and regulations
• Facilitate Cross-Departmental communication in-line with the Information Technology Project list

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Requires education in a quantitative field generally equivalent to a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience
• Minimum four years related IT experience working across all aspect of Information Technology
• Ability to work effectively with others to determine how business needs can be addressed with technical solutions.
• Ability to assist with the development of business requirements and translate those requirements into technical solutions.
• Effective managerial, interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Excellent critical thinking; able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
• High level of patience and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to the end user
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively and concisely present information.
• Ability to work on multiple in-process tasks simultaneously, set appropriate priorities and accomplish assignments in a thorough and timely fashion
