We are actively seeking qualified Irrigation Service Technicians to assist with our very busy work load within out ever growing company. A qualified tech should be able to provide a resume which details experience with a licensed and insured irrigation business on Long Island. This is a great opportunity for someone that feels they may not be receiving the appreciating the deserve.

Candidates must posses a clean and valid NYS drivers license and be able to legally work in the United States. Being fluent in English is a must and a bilingual candidate is a plus.

Pay is to be determined based on experience and time in the industry. We do offer an above average pay scale with constant raises and seasonal bonuses. The right candidates may be considered for additional benefits after demonstrating the necessary skills and improving on a daily basis. We have listed our starting rate at $20/Hour but will gladly provide the best amount to any deserving candidates.

Our general season will operate from March through November for irrigation and November through January with our sister company of every year with very limited time off. All employees qualify for Unemployment insurance if needed during the seasonal slow times (Jan, Feb and March).

A qualified irrigation technician should have at least 2 years of experience in the lawn sprinkler industry servicing residential and commercial systems. The tech position is not a management position, however a qualified tech should be able to perform their daily tasks without supervision. Techs will be responsible for showing up to work on time, operating company vehicles and machinery, performing service at all dispatched locations, dealing directly with clients, supporting day to day operational tasks and working as a part of the team.

The tech should have experience with - Start up activations of systems, seasonal inspections, winteriztions, adjusting heads, inspecting systems, replacing heads, servicing valves, trouble shooting issues, repairing breaks in piping, minor plumbing repairs, minor low voltage electrical wiring repairs, assessing coverage issues with existing systems, expanding current systems, moving heads, setting timers, checking sensors, assisting homeowners and property managers with settings and adjustments, inventory control and many other industry related tasks. Having a current working knowledge of products and manufactures is key. We service many systems both new and old in the commercial and residential parts of the industry.

In addition to Irrigation, we operate a very busy low voltage landscape lighting division which also offers Holiday Lighting. This division of our business awards the opportunity for year round work/pay with limited down time.

Ideally the right candidate would be able to demonstrate the necessary tasks required to qualify for this position and would be considered with the option to discuss further benefits with our team.

All employees are not required to but have the option to work overtime and be compensated for it. Our techs begin with our team ahead of the industry and move on to be successful individuals in the trade.
