Affinitas LLC is hiring immediately for a dependable Inventory Specialist to join our team! While working there, you will earn $17.50 - $18.50/ hour weekly depending on experience, weekdays from 6am or 7am-4pm Monday -Friday.

In this role you are responsible for the proper storage, tracking, and distribution of inventory, utilizing an established inventory management system to keep track of current stock, distribute items to the appropriate team members, and create reports. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all stock/inventory areas are clean and tidy, all arriving items are promptly logged and appropriately stored, and that any inventory needs are clearly communicated to management.

The successful candidate for this role will be proficient with the use of all techniques related to inventory control. The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, motivated, be able to lift and carry items up to 20 lbs. on a regular basis, understand and utilize safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Stock inventory in specified locations, and keep the areas organized, clean and tidy.
  • Be open to feedback and feel comfortable making suggestions to improve the inventory system and storage areas.
  • Perform physical count of inventory, and update inventory count of parts and materials in the inventory record system.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of the computer-based inventory system, and use the system to accurately maintain stock levels and anticipate restock dates.
  • Coordinate with the Supervisor on acceptable levels of inventory.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to Supervisor when stock items are low.
  • Be able to set daily level of expectations and hold personnel accountable.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize workflow
  • At least 1-year of forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment
  • Willingness to become forklift certified for site
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience Managing a team
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to motivate others
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and work outdoors for long periods of time
  • Flexibility in schedule
  • Computer and excel skills a plus!
