Inventory Manager Job at Emerson
- Manages the daily activities of the Inventory Control department and employees.
- Implements policies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Employs standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency.
- Assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations.
- Implements Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting.
- Collaborates with Cross-Functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices.
- Examine the levels of supplies and raw materials to determine shortages/overages.
- Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels.
- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- A minimum of five years of experience in related inventory control area as an individual contributor
- Extensive knowledge of the function and departmental processes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, problem solve and find root cause determination.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- One to three years of supervisory/management experience
- Proven ability to use Excel to analyze data.
- JDE or Oracle experience is preferred
