If you are an INVENTORY AND DISTRIBUTION professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our SOUTHAVEN, MS location, we are looking for an Inventory Control Manager that will manage the inventory operations. This position requires working effectively in a collaborative and independent environment.
AS AN INVENTORY CONTROL MANAGER, YOU WILL:
  • Manages the daily activities of the Inventory Control department and employees.
  • Implements policies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Employs standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency.
  • Assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations.
  • Implements Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting.
  • Collaborates with Cross-Functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices.
  • Examine the levels of supplies and raw materials to determine shortages/overages.
  • Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
  • Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of five years of experience in related inventory control area as an individual contributor
  • Extensive knowledge of the function and departmental processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, problem solve and find root cause determination.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • One to three years of supervisory/management experience
  • Proven ability to use Excel to analyze data.
  • JDE or Oracle experience is preferred
