Role:
The Regional Service Manager (RSM) will be responsible for managing technicians and administrative staff. In this position, the candidate will need to be an effective communicator as it is critical to the development of our operational team and quality of support we provide to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Travel to assigned locations and train newly acquired RSM’s and oversee Dispatcher
    training on Company processes, policies, and procedures
  • Develop and oversee training plans, as assigned
  • Ensure training goals are met prior to end of scheduled training plan
  • Work closely with Integration team to develop onboarding plan for newly acquired
    locations
  • Keep Integration team updated on RSM and Dispatcher training and acclimation to
    Company procedures by providing daily and/or weekly updates
  • Coach on-site Management on how to properly hire, train and provide employee
    discipline, as needed
  • Provide guidance for newly acquired location(s) on how to meet office goals and metrics
  • Work with current management team to ensure customer satisfaction throughout
    acquisition process
  • Oversee Dispatcher on-boarding and training at newly acquired locations as well as
    ongoing onboarding at assigned locations. This role would be responsible for this when
    filling in for any vacant RSM position.
  • Train new RSM’s on how to evaluate and perform annual reviews with Operations
    Manager approvals, as needed. This role would be responsible for this when filling in for
    any vacant RSM position.
  • Complete Company reports, as needed and ensure RSM’s in training know how to
    complete common Company reports
  • Communicate customer needs to team (Integration Team, Dispatchers, RSM’s, ASM’s,
    Operations Manager, and VP’s)
  • Successfully promote company’s image, appearance, and reputation
  • Train new RSM’s on how to oversee management of customer relationships for
    assigned area. This role would be responsible for this when filling in for any vacant RSM
    position.
  • Train new RSM’s on how to ensure efficient and well-planned scheduling of all calls.

  • Train new RSM’s on how to ensure area meets or exceeds customer and company SLA
    requirements. This role would be responsible for this when filling in for any vacant RSM
    position.
  • Train new RSM’s on how to properly manage dispatchers and ensure company systems
    and procedures are followed. This role would be responsible for this when filling in for
    any vacant RSM position.
  • Train RSM’s on how to be responsible for bottom line. This role would be responsible for
    this when filling in for any vacant RSM position.
  • Train RSM’s on how to oversee management of labor and material costs per work order
    and customer. This role would be responsible for this when filling in for any vacant RSM
    position.
  • Train RSM’s on how to support ASM and the development of technicians. This role
    would be responsible for this when filling in for any vacant RSM position.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Deliver high level of customer service on a consistent basis
  • Provide on-site support to local regional office/operations when not working acquisition
  • Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Minimum 5 years of field technical experience and/or proven track record with past
    experience
  • Technical knowledge necessary to provide value to our technicians and customers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Experience with management and conflict resolution
  • Extremely high level of urgency to resolve problems
  • Excellent customer service skills (Internal and External Customers)

Physical requirements:
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% or as needed.
  • Must be willing and able to work out of assigned office location(s)
  • Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a
    copy machine, telephone, and computer printer.
  • Must be able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours
  • Must be able to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the day
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking
  • Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling,
    bending, and crouching
  • Rarely requires climbing
