JOB SUMMARY

This Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for overseeing the process for all property/casualty insurance programs in the Agency. The CSR monitors all property & casualty issues and claims as directed. The CSR processes and inputs all related claims and completes all data entry related tasks.

This position is located at the Associated Food Stores corporate office, with an opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares, reviews, completes, and issues proposals for prospective and current clients.
• Performs claims reviews.
• Handles requests received from manager, agents, and others.
• Answers incoming calls with the purpose of providing service.
• Inputs data of client details into management system and accounting data input into agency management system.
• Responsible for customer service including response to inquiries regarding varied issues, claims and policy service.
• Documents activities and follow up in appropriate systems regularly and accurately.
• Performs other tasks and duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training:

• High School Diploma/GED or related field experience required
• Property & Casualty License issued by State of Utah Insurance Department a plus
• Health and Disability license helpful

Experience:

• One year or more work experience in related or administrative fields
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Intermediate accounting knowledge & principles required
