Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. - Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) - Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management - AMMO62 certification preferred - CSCP or CLTD certifications preferred - Shall possess a secret clearance at minimum. - Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination: - To be qualified for this position you must comply with USCENTCOM MOD 16 that requires proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC or host country requirements. As of now, to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you must have received either two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine, two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine, two doses of Moderna Vaccine, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and two weeks must have elapsed after the final dose was administered. This definition may change in accordance with CDC guidelines. Compliance with this government requirement is an essential function of the position and is a condition of employment. - Experience: - The LSD shall have at least ten (10) years of multifunctional logistics experience relating to quartermaster, maintenance, transportation, Supply support activities and services provided by the installation. - This requirement is not waivered. - Preferred candidates will possess at least six years of Army multifunctional logistics experience at a Supervisory level. - Experience managing government contracts highly desired. - Clearance/License: - A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and Qatar Driver’s License are required. - Must be able to maintain USG Network access & CAC card privilege(s). - Skills: - The LSD shall be capable of providing analysis of practices and problems of all functions of the Logistics Support Directorate (LSD) to facilitate the USG DOL by increasing the effectiveness of logistics support provided by the installation. - Excellent communication and writing skills are required along with a working knowledge of computer operations to include spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications. - Great organizational and management skills with a strong ability to work independent as a member of a robust team. - Supervisory/Budget Responsibilities: - Provide broad guidance and direction to a multinational team of 150+ personnel. - Responsible for ensuring effective management of an annual budget of $2+ million. - Working Conditions: - Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. - Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). - Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well. - Physical Requirements: - Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. - Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. - Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. - Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
