General Description

This position will be full time employment. The candidate is responsible for installing Canopies, Walkways, Bike Parking and Storage Racks, Shelters, and Translucent roofs and Walls on commercial jobsites. The candidate must be able to pass a background check due to some of the scope of work is for government agencies, schools, etc. Travel to job sites and over-night hotel stays are common. Compensation will depend of qualifications and range from $65 - $80 k base/ $20k bonus (approx.) and consist of a salary wage, bonus structure, and other incentives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Interact directly with the customers to safely complete the installation of Duo Gard Products.

• Work with the Installations Manager to review construction documents. Determine the manpower needed for each project.

• Work as part of a team to provide problem solving in order to insure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

• Work with General Contractors and other trades to install a multitude of products on commercial job sites.

• Ensure each job is completed at a high level and take ownership of the workmanship that is performed to make sure it is done correctly and on time.

• Complete daily reports and take project completion photos.

• Leave the job site clean of any debris due to our materials and products.

Valuable Skills for this Position

• Honestly and integrity is critical for this position

• OSHA 30 (not a requirement, but will be need to obtain)

• Fist Aid/ CPR Certificate (not a requirement, but will be need to obtain)

• Proficiency at reading and interpreting shop drawings and fabrication drawings.

• Commercial Construction Experience (ie. working with and around other trades on a job site.)

• Interpersonal and customer service skills

• Fork lift, Scissor Lift, Aerial Boom lift, and Lull experience

• Experience with Aluminum Extrusions

• Experience with Structural Steel

• The Ability to travel for several days before returning home.

• Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools including, saws, hammers, drills, impacts, riveters, compressors, ladders and scaffolding.
